There are two categories of Student Pass which are:
STUDENT PASS I
This is issued to persons studying in approved training establishments including children of persons legally residing in the country who are above the age of majority.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENT PASS ‘I’
- Certificate of registration of institution/school
- Evidence of sponsorship/scholarship
- Evidence of enrolment
- Admission letter
- Joining instruction
STUDENT PASS II
This is issued to children of persons legally residing in the country who are below the age of majority and have not been endorsed in their parents residence permits studying in approved training establishments including kindergarten, primary and secondary schools and other higher learning institutions
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENT PASS ‘II’
- Admission letter
- Evidence of sponsorship/scholarship
- Parent consent if under guardian
- Copy of valid Resident Permit/Exemption Certificate/Dependent Pass of parent or guardian
- Birth certificates (child/parents)
- Copy of passport of parent
NB:
Language teaching institutions are not eligible to provide 2 years Pass validity. Applicants who wish to come and learn languages may only apply for 3 months visa.
All copies should be certified.
